Hey friends,
Summer adventures, an origin story on stage, and big steps toward the facility — here's what's happening at Relentless Pursuit.
Explorers Club kick-off event a success

Adventure, within reach! A great crew came out on Sunday, August 16 to experience adventure and community while floating the Rum River. It was a beautiful day with a lot of laughs, conversation, and reflection.
Nick Johnson, Founder of Relentless Pursuit, kicked off the float by encouraging everyone to reflect on their summer and how God has been working in their lives. He highlighted the importance of reflecting and remembering as a way to slow down and appreciate the small details, experiences, life lessons, and growth we consistently experience. From a faith perspective, that reflection serves as a way to be grateful for God's relentless pursuit of our hearts and acknowledge His perfect timing and provision.
Pursuit in practice
Take your own adventure over the next few weeks and reflect on your own summer. What have been highlights? Challenges? Successes? Growth opportunities? Where have you seen God show up and provide just what you needed, when you needed it? A note from a friend, a song that spoke to your heart in the moment, a kind word from a stranger in line… you get the idea.
Reflect and then write it down so you can look back and remember. If you feel up to it, share it with us! Email your story to [email protected].
Don't look back
Look back and remember? I thought we weren't supposed to "look back." Good question! There is a time to reflect and remember and look back at how far you've come and to see God's fingerprints and miracles in your life. That is always worth looking back on. How about when God closes a door or releases you from a situation, but the future is unclear and you desire to go back to what is safe and familiar? There is encouragement in not looking back in those situations.
Watch: the origin story of Relentless Pursuit
Nick had the chance to kick off a sermon series called "Don't Look Back" at Hope Fellowship on Sunday, August 9. He shares more of the origin story of Relentless Pursuit and how being let go from his corporate job in May of 2025 was actually an answer to prayer, despite it not feeling like that in the moment.
Building and business update
We continue to pursue funding and a location. The team is utilizing resources and mentorship from SCORE, a non-profit group from the local MN chapter of the Small Business Association. Our mentor has raised over $150M in capital for start-ups and is guiding our business plan to be set up for success.
We are dreaming big — and now scaling that appropriately to phase out our launch and growth plan to secure the funding needed to meet those dreams! We continue to embrace the mantra given to us by another advisor: "Dream big, start small, act fast." We like that…
If anyone is connected to angel investors, we'd love to chat with them! Email us at [email protected].
